I’m sorry I’m late but I have a 2001 gt and it has over 200,000 miles and my tranny starting to slip. I wanted to know your recommendations on since it’s so old should I flush all the fluid out. I’ve heard this can cause other issues so I’m resolving to putting additives in it for the time being.

Spot on, apart from you never torqued the carrier or slider bolts or mentioned what the torques are.

I looked at so many YT video's and what looks simple can take all day if not worse!!! The problem issues with these older cars.....the bolts may strip or not come out and that lies the biggest issues!
